YS Velvet Box is a compact plugin for sound processing, can be used both for the master bus and individually on tracks. For a small “box” has quite a lot of functions. Soft clipper with threshold adjustment 0-6 dB and hard limiter peaks -0.01 dB, FLUX- creates a small difference between the left and right channels randomly to the tempo of the project, eliminating static in perception.
Dynamics expander-Expander can work both in minus and in plus. Six equalizer bands with a wide range of adjustable frequencies. “Shelves” for low and high frequencies with adjustable slope and four “bells” Low frequency suppressor in the form of a “shelf” with fixed frequency and volume values with selector buttons.
Two types of harmonic saturation are added in parallel to the main signal, XFRM_ odd harmonics, the Hi Cut button lowers the high frequencies of only harmonics for both types of saturation, TUBE-even harmonics, by default only one harmonic #2 is added, clicking on the button adds harmonic #4, the following clicks will multiply the harmonics. Noise is not added statically, but in dynamics from the signal strength, adjusted separately for white and pink noise.
Loudness meter of two types VU and LUFS. The plugin has two versions Mono and Two Mono. 2-mono can work in stereo mode, in the mode of two independent adjustable channels and Mid-Side mode.
