Breakshaper is based on the effect section of my Kontakt instrument ‘SR Drums’.

Breakshaper is based on the effect section of my Kontakt instrument ‘SR Drums’.

It is a tone shaping, distortion and dynamics plugin, designed to get your drums smacking (or not) in the quickest time possible.

Initially I started loading other samples into the SR Drums instrument before having the thought that maybe it’s better if I made my own version, with a few tweaks and extra features.

Featuring a state variable filter with modulation, a tilt/smile tone control, distortion, compression and transient shaping it can get your drums where you want them with a minimum of fuss.

The plugin is free, but of course any support you may decide to send my way is greatly appreciated.
