YS Multi Peak Limiter

40 MB

YS – Multi Peak Limiter_ Audio plugin for mixing. Three-band peak limiter-maximizer operating in the mode (left-right, center-side) Each of the three bands has an adjustable threshold of soft and hard clipper.

Soft limiter gives saturation of harmonics without introducing strong distortions, so you can add density in the low-frequency range without introducing distortions in the high-frequency spectrum. Hard limiter does not pass sharp bursts above the set threshold. At the output, another general peak limiter of -0.3 dB is installed.

The frequency divider switches discretely (4 fixed frequencies) or smoothly.
The choice of the slope of the cutoff filters of the crossover is set by default to a linear phase algorithm. When choosing, note that in some modes, dips will appear at the junctions of the ranges, and in other cases, rises, this effect can be used to enhance or reduce resonances of instruments.

The plugin can also be used as a three-band coloring equalizer for tone correction and as a stereo expander in mid-side mode by disabling the “Link” fader connection.
