YS-EQ5 Vintage is a five-band coloring equalizer in vintage style. Equalizer with fixed frequency and bandwidth values will give an easier way to achieve the desired tone using combinations of switches as “mini-presets”. There is also a smooth-precise adjustment mode for the desired parameters.
The device is in three versions: Stereo, mono and two mono. The two-mono equalizer can work in stereo, two mono and as a central and side (Mid-Side) modes. Introducing a difference in settings between channels will give a more voluminous sound, use the “RNDM” button random-random selection 1-24 to introduce a difference in settings.
The Play button turns on automatic switching of random channel selection, thereby eliminating static and adding liveliness to perception. The LUFS volume meter will give the opportunity for orientation to stay in the right balance. For ease of comparison, the meter shows the input and output signals.
Drive – adds harmonics for coloring. Noise adds noise – artifacts not statically, but dynamically. The knob is double and one part adds white noise left-right LR, and the second pink noise Mid-Side. center and side. Air will add a psycho-acoustic effect of volume and airiness at the highest frequencies.
