VeeBassAmp BS Edition is a bass amp sim, inspired by the rig used by Billy Sheehan.
It is not meant to recreate the sound of the Master, but rather to employ the principles he uses. Imagine your bass guitar has separated pickups. One producing only high frequencies (plugged into a distortion pedal) and second, producing only sub frequencies. Both are connected to separate signal chains and combined at the output. No matter how hard you distort the top, you will never lose a single dB of the low end. And you can easily blend high/distorted signal with bottom end, switching from cutting lead tones to solid bass backbone at will.
NOTE: turn DRIVE knob clockwise for more distortion. Treat PICKUP knobs as actual volume pots of individual pickups.
Hidden features include a HPF to remove subsonic rumble, a LPF to remove hiss and high frequency artifacts, a 8:1 FET type compressor placed between preamp and EQ.
