What is KABIN?

A universal guitar cabinet modeler plugin that lets you shape your guitar tone with unprecedented control.

Key Controls

SIZE Knob

• Adjusts speaker and cabinet size
• Range from battery-powered amp to 1×12 cabinet
• Smaller settings reduce both speaker and cabinet size

CHARACTER Knob

• Controls speaker character from Soft to Punch
• Soft setting: Smoother mid-range response (especially low-mids)
• Punch setting: Fuller mid-range response
• Affects both frequency and dynamic response

MIC Placement

• Modeled Tube Mic positioned in front of the cabinet
• Movable from left to right
• Default position is center

OUTPUT Knob

• Controls main output level
• Range from Inf to +12dB

Unique Features

• No oversampling
• Resizable interface (50% to 200%)
• Simple resize handle in bottom right corner

Resizing Tip

1. Open plugin for the first time
2. Resize GUI to your preference
3. Save as default preset in your DAW
4. New instances will load at your preferred size

SIZE : You can set spiker and cabinet size and response with SIZE knob. Spiker/Cabinet size can be changed battery-powered guitar amp cab to 1×12. While your spiker size goes to smaller, cabinet size will go smaller, too.

CHARACTER : Will set character of spiker and cabinet. Soft to Punch. Soft will give smoother mid response (mostly low mid) and Punch will give fuller mid response. Not only frequency changes. Also, dynamic response.

MICROPHONE : There is a mic (Modeled Tube Mic) in front of cabinet. You can move it left to right. In default, it’s placed center. You can move mic to right to get off-axis placement.

OUTPUT : Will set main output. Inf to +12dB.

KABIN : It’s also bypass button. Red is active, white is bypassed.
