I originally created Splitt for a mastering project where I needed a linear-phase spectrum splitter to dial in separate settings for the low and high end. I thought it would be a one-off – something I’d use once and then forget about. But it turned out to be way more useful than I expected, and I keep coming back to it.
I shared it for free, and the number of downloads and positive comments made it clear I wasn’t the only one finding it helpful.
Recently, a user asked for a signed and notarized AU version. That felt like a good excuse to give Splitt its own post – and update it while I was at it.
Changelog v1.00 – v2.00
Bypass buttons added
Added a gain knob for each band
Minor bug-fixes
