Let me tell you about Songbird. It’s seriously cool plugin – it makes your instruments sound like they’re actually singing with vowel sounds!

Songbird uses something called formant filters (fancy term for filters that sound like human vowels) to add texture and expression to literally ANY instrument you throw at it.

You get five different vowel sounds to play with. Want to blend between “ooo” and “aah”? No problem! Just slide that filter position control and watch your sound transform.

There are two ways to blend these vowels:
– “Frequency” mode gives you that classic wobbly, talky filter sound
– “Blend” mode is more subtle if you’re not looking for something so in-your-face

Got a dull sound that needs some sparkle? Crank up the Air control! It adds some higher harmonics that really make things shine.

The best part? You don’t have to manually automate everything. Songbird comes with:
– A built-in LFO with tons of wave shapes that can sync to your track’s tempo
– An envelope follower that reacts to your playing – hit harder, get more vowel effect!
