Little EQ is an equalizer plugin that brings to life the sound of a passive filter and an output transformer.
I’m aiming to create an equalizer that’s as clean as possible. My goal is to achieve a bright, in-your-face sound that still has a touch of body. I want to keep it simple and user-friendly, so I can easily shape the tunes while working on songs for my project.
I used neural networks to capture the sound of a homemade passive filter, which some people call “mojo.” Then I applied various functions using DSP. To balance the sound of this equalizer, I further simulated the saturation of an EI96 output transformer.
