A dedicated kick-drum design instrument for hardstyle, hard techno and EDM. Build a kick from five independently sculpted layers, run each through its own effects chain, then glue the result together with master processing, tempo-synced loop performance and a MIDI sidechain trigger output.

5-layer kick architecture — Transient, Punch, Top Kick, Crunch and Bass layers, each with its own pitch/amplitude curve editor and sample source

Per-layer FX chain: Bitcrusher, Compressor, Delay, Distortion, Filter, Limiter, Reverb and Transient Shaper, freely combinable per layer

Four switchable time-stretch / pitch engines — Bungee, RubberBand, Signalsmith and SoundTouch — for clean or characterful pitch shifting

Master FX chain applied after the layer mix, plus a dedicated Master Stretch processor with adjustable tail split point

Master pitch, fine-tune (cents), pan and “pogo” pitch-bounce controls, all mappable to fixed MIDI CCs (no MIDI-learn required)

Loop-on-Hold performance mode that retriggers on beat 1, synced to host tempo or a standalone BPM fallback

MIDI sidechain trigger output — fires a note pulse on every real kick hit so external ducking compressors track the actual transient

Built-in sample library browser with instant audition/preview, independent of the live layer engine

Ships with the KickForge Library — 1,000+ hand-picked one-shots across all 5 layers (Transient, Punch, Top Kick, Crunch/Bass, Sub), pre-sorted into style folders (Rawstyle, Euphoric, Uptempo, Industrial, Oldschool, Gated, Thyron, Rawphoric and more) plus a Presets folder for your own saved .kfpreset patches

Direct WAV export of the current kick exactly as configured, rendered offline through the same processing path as playback

Real-time master output metering with independent peak-hold ballistics
