We are very proud to present our First Guitar Amp simulator!
This is provided to you for free, to give you a taste of our full EVOampSuite launching in September. EVOampSuite provides over 40 year of rock and metal tone history in one plugin. EVOampLite provides you with one of the more modern flavours the suite has to offer, but it’s no one trick pony as you’ll see from the presets!
What’s Included in Lite?
4 essential FX provided, a Noisegate, Overdrive, Reverb and Delay.
2 Cabinets, a bespoke 6L6 inspired cabinet and a monstrously oversized 4×12 cabinet with vintage speakers.
1 6L6 blue channel amp using our first gen of wave analogue modelling techniques. Up to 60% less CPU usage than some of the amp sims we benchmarked against!
20+ Presets created by artists and youtubers during the testing phase.
All in one powerful and free plugin, if plugins aren’t your thing a standalone app version is included so you can just plug in and play.
We hope you enjoy this as much as we have during testing. Be sure to tag us in anything you create with it!

Minimum requirements: Windows 10 64bit, 8gb Ram, i3 processor or equivalent.
Compatible with: Reaper v6.81 , Ableton live 10 , Cubase 12 or newer*.
*may work with older DAWs/versions of windows, but we cannot guarantee this as it has only been tested from the versions above.
To install: Close your current DAW session, Extract the installer files from the .zip folder, follow the install instructions for your chosen type of install. (VST3 & standalone, Presets are installed separately if required, to enable preset updates in the future.)
MAC
Minimum requirements: Mac OSX Sonoma 14.4.1, 8gb Ram, Apple M1/2/3 processor. (Intel processor version coming soon)
Compatible with: GarageBand 10.4.10, Logic Pro 10.7 or higher.
*may work with older DAWs and versions of OSX, but we cannot guarantee this as it has only been tested from the versions above.
To install: Close your current DAW session, Extract the .pkg file from the zip folder and follow the installer instructions.
You may have to allow the AU plug in permissions before the plug in will work due to recent apple security updates. Please see the screenshot below, or contact support@revoltdsp.com if you are having install issues.
Improvements/bug fixes:
– Full ASIO driver support for Standalone plugin, Resolves connection/latency issues in standalone app.
– Installer compression type changed from .lzma to .zip, Some antivirus software thinks .lzma is a trojan.
– Bonus easter egg – you can run dual/stereo input in standalone thanks to the new drivers.
