WHAT HYLL PRESSURE DOES

HYLL Pressure pushes the signal into a saturation core, adds harmonic weight, catches peaks with a soft ceiling, and lets you blend the result with the dry signal.

In simple terms:

Pressure pushes the sound.
Density makes it thicker.
Ceiling catches the peaks.
Level matches the output volume.
Blend mixes dry and processed sound.

QUICK START

1. Load HYLL Pressure on a track, bus or master.
2. Start with the Gentle Pressure preset.
3. Raise Pressure until the sound moves forward.
4. Adjust Density until the tone has the right weight.
5. Lower Ceiling only if peaks need more control.
6. Use Level to match the bypassed volume.
7. Use Blend if the effect feels too strong.

Always compare with bypass at a similar loudness. Louder usually feels better at first, even when the processing is too much.

GOOD STARTING USES

Drums:
Use medium to high Pressure, medium Density and Blend around 60-100%.

Bass / 808:
Use medium Pressure, medium Density and watch the low end carefully.

Synths:
Use low to medium Pressure, medium Density and a mostly open Ceiling.

Mix bus:
Use low Pressure, lower Density and match Level carefully.

Creative destruction:
Raise Pressure and Density, then use Blend to bring the dry signal back.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the plugin does not appear:

- Make sure HYLL Pressure.vst3 is inside:

  C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\

- Quit and reopen your DAW.
- Rescan VST3 plugins.
- Check that your DAW supports VST3.
- Restart the computer if the DAW still does not see it.

If the sound becomes too harsh:

- Lower Pressure.
- Lower Density.
- Open the Ceiling.
- Use less Blend.
- Match Level before judging.

If the mix loses punch:

- Lower Density.
- Use less Pressure.
- Reduce Blend instead of removing the plugin completely.
