Gluon Privacy Note
Version 1.0.0

Gluon does not require an account or license activation. Audio processing,
presets and normal plugin use are local. There is no audio telemetry or
analytics.

Manual update checks open the nClear update page in your default browser.
Optional automatic checks request the update catalog directly. They are off
by default; enabling them triggers a check, with later checks on editor opening
after seven days. Failed checks are throttled for one hour. Requests use the
primary nClear service or its RU mirror when needed.

Update requests include plugin name and version, platform, process CPU
architecture, plugin format, host description and request source. They do not
send audio, DAW project contents, presets, filesystem paths or user/machine
identifiers. The website and network providers receive normal connection
metadata, including the request IP address.

Appearance and update preferences, check timestamps, endpoint choice and cached
update results are stored locally. Portable presets and DAW project state do
not contain these machine preferences.

Download and support platforms process information under their own policies.
nClear may use information you voluntarily provide to deliver downloads,
answer support requests and reproduce issues. Do not send private projects or
sensitive files unless needed for debugging and you are comfortable sharing them.
nClear does not sell personal data or use your audio, projects, presets or
support files to train AI models.
