ACID ATTACK 1.0.2
Future Makers Sound

Generate. Twist. Drag. Create.

ABOUT

Acid Attack is a monophonic sampler and MIDI pattern generator for acid,
techno, trance, melodic techno, progressive, rave, industrial, and hard dance.
It can create acid basslines, hypnotic sequences, trance hooks, progressive
motifs, and melodic lead patterns.

The instrument includes 20 built-in one-shot sounds, 16- and 32-step pattern
generation, direct MIDI export, multiple musical modes, sound presets, filter
controls, glide, accent, distortion, delay, and reverb.

FORMATS

- VST3 instrument for Windows x64
- Standalone application for Windows x64

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- A 64-bit VST3-compatible DAW for the plug-in version
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
- Internet connection during installation only if WebView2 Runtime is missing

INSTALLATION

1. Close your DAW and Acid Attack Standalone.
2. Run AcidAttack-Setup-1.0.2.exe.
3. Select the VST3 component and, if wanted, the Standalone application.
4. Complete the installation.
5. Open your DAW and rescan VST3 plug-ins if Acid Attack is not listed.

The VST3 plug-in is installed to:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Acid Attack.vst3

Only AcidAttack-Setup-1.0.2.exe is required for installation. Source files,
JUCE, build scripts, and separate VST3 folders are not required by users.

MUSICAL MODES

- Minor
- Dorian
- Phrygian
- Harmonic Minor
- Minor Pentatonic
- Blues

Acid Attack is monophonic, which means that it plays one note at a time.
Overlapping notes can create a Glide instead of a chord. This makes the
instrument suitable for basslines, leads, hooks, arpeggio-like phrases, and
other single-note melodies.

MIDI EXPORT

- Click "Drag MIDI to DAW" to save the current MIDI pattern to your Downloads
  folder.
- Hold and drag the same control to place the MIDI pattern directly into a DAW.
- Exported MIDI may be edited freely or played with any other synthesizer.

MIDI INPUT

Acid Attack accepts MIDI notes from your DAW, Piano Roll, or MIDI controller.
It can therefore be played like a normal monophonic instrument without using
the internal pattern generator.

UNINSTALLATION

1. Close your DAW and the Standalone application.
2. Open Windows Settings.
3. Go to Apps > Installed apps.
4. Select Acid Attack and choose Uninstall.

Do not manually delete shared Microsoft Visual C++ or WebView2 components.
Other applications may also require them.
